Saudi Aramco has agreed to become the Titanium Sponsor for the ISA EMEA Automation Conference and Exhibition 2013. The five day event, which will be held in Saudi Arabia from 7-11 December 2013 at the Sheraton Dammam Hotel & Towers, will be the first full-scale conference and tradeshow in the Gulf region that will be dedicated for process automation. The event will focus on measurement and control latest technologies through a 5-day technical conference, product exhibition and training courses.

Saudi Aramco is a fully integrated, global petroleum, gas and chemicals enterprise and a world leader in exploration, production, refining, distribution, shipping and marketing for the hydrocarbon industry. Saudi Aramco’s sponsorship will provide added value opportunities and financial integrity to the event, and is a critical enabler to hold such event that will provide a forum for technical exchange and professional networking.

The event will be organized by the Saudi Arabian Section of ISA, International Society of Automation (www.isa.org), which is the leading, global, nonprofit organization that is setting the standard for automation.  The technical credibility provided by ISA will feature a lineup of educational sessions led by industry leaders from around the globe, sharing their thoughts and views about the newest trends in equipment, practice, technology and research. It will also enable companies to demonstrate their products and services related to the Process Automation field. 

Commenting on Saudi Aramco’s decision to be the Prime Sponsor of this international event, Mr. Hussain Al-Qahtani, Manager of Process and Control Systems Department,  "Saudi Aramco’s sponsorship is a reflection of its strong commitment to the professional development of Saudi workforce and to the local content strategy."
